So it’s the 5th month of 2021 and about seven months since I transitioned to faith and lifestyle blogging and content creation. I decided to share my lifestyle updates for two reasons;
- To track my progress, growth, and changes in my life
- To count my blessings. You know a lot of times, if you are not making records, you don’t notice the amazing work God is doing in and through you.
So here I go… shoot!

6 Lifestyle Updates Since Faith & Lifestyle Blogging
- I launched A podcast
- I’m redecorating my bedroom
- I launched The Faith Hive community
- I’m currently planning my first event since covid lockdown
- I started singing again. I became a choir girl again.
- I launched two blog building services.
I launched the “How To Be A Success for Jesus Podcast”
So I launched this podcast sometime in April, though I am still on Episode 2, it is targeted towards people who want to live a successful Christian lifestyle. As much as serving God is one of the easiest choices we can make in life, it still takes a lot of grace and self-discipline to get yourself to the point where you can say Christianity is actually easy.
I Started redecorating my bedroom:
So I’ve been living with my big sister and her hubby for the past four years and occupying her son’s bedroom. However, I’ve never liked the kid-themed decor. I never liked it. However, he was eventually moved to another room and I got the go-ahead to redecorate and it has so far been an exciting experience. Trust me to use minimalist aesthetics in the whole process. I can’t wait to show off the finished look. I have also been filming the process which will be live on YouTube anytime soon.

I Started “The Faith Hive”:
I have had this impressed in my spirit for so long. In fact, there are two of these kinds of projects that the Holy Spirit has been prompting me to set up, but how to start, where, with whom have been some of the limiting factors, but I am so glad I finally started this one. So in summary, The Faith Hive is a community for newbie Christians who want to learn more about God or old ones who have so much to share from their experience as well learn how to deal with struggles, etc. the goal is to create a space that is safe to share Chrisitan and godly content without censorship and bias from mainstream social media platforms. So if you are interested in the faith lifestyle and wish to join our community, follow the link below to register.

I’m planning my first post-lockdown faith lifestyle event:
So I met Eketi, at an event, I attend a while ago (you can read about it here). After which I reached out to her and pitched the idea to organize this event talking about celibacy and abstinence. While these are subjects I’m interested in, I’m also doing it for other Christian girls and young men who may be interested in it but are struggling.
I’ve always been all about practical Christianity and this is just one of many to come faith lifestyle events that I’ll be organizing.
I revived my music ministry:
I have been a choir girl all my life, but two years ago after a long break from being in a service department, I joined the media department in my church. Wheewww! It was a struggle. I thought it will be ok because being a minimalist I didn’t have to update my wardrobe and also, I could actually learn a new skill in media since it is literally my field. Little did I know that there was a difference between a hubby and a call to ministry… media was just not my ministry so long as the house of God was concerned. I quit eventually. I took a one-year break, praying and asking God for guidance. I knew choir was my answer, but I struggled because joining choir will overhaul my wardrobe. However, I knew that the moment that my Pastor told me God wants me to serve in His house, I knew I need to let go and let God. So in January 2021, I re-joined the choir. I must say it has been thrilling… and I noticed I’m also growing fast too in the choir and generally in spirituality. So, praise be to God for the opportunity to serve in His house and minister to His people!

I launched two blog-building services:
With eight years of experience in building and redesigning my blogs on different platforms, I have gained ample experience to build and design blogs for newbie bloggers or ready-made creatives who don’t mind outsourcing the design process while they focus on creating content and preparing their products/services. This idea was birthed when I transitioned to Faith and lifestyle blogging and decided to move to WordPress, so I rebuilt my site from the ground up and I love playing with themes a lot… I thought, why not monetize your skill, so here I am.

Writing this post now, I can see how choosing faith and lifestyle as my new niche in blogging and content creation is really changing my life. I am more and more tuned to my spiritual walk, discovering new ways to impact my world and I can’t wait to manifest all that God has deposited in me.
I’m so excited!
In conclusion, I’m grateful to God for the new heights I’m attaining. Honestly, I’m beyond overwhelmed by the goals ahead, but I know that God’s got me. Since he put them in my heart, He will surely see me through. I look forward to the end of the year. I pray I would have done much more.
